Sworn Translator
A sworn translator is a translator who has official certification from the government to translate official documents. This certification is obtained after taking a translator qualification test and successfully passing it and being sworn in by the Governor or the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.
The sworn translators have the expertise to translate documents from various fields such as Personal Data (ID Card, Family Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, etc.), Company Deeds, Educational Documents (Diplomas, Academic Transcripts, Report Cards, Scholarship Registration Requirements, etc.)
A general translator who has not been appointed and does not have a certificate by and from the Governor or the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Non-official documents that can be translated include Journals, Usage Manuals, Articles, Abstracts, Research Results, and so on.
